’Epic’ shot captured at Mines of Spain featured in Brides Magazine

Photographer Amelia Charleen Roling, of Preston, Iowa, recently had a photo from Mines of Spain Recreation Area in Dubuque featured in Brides magazine as part of its “50 of the Most Epic Wedding Photos from across the USA.”

Roling partnered with Hope’s Bridal in Davenport, Iowa; a florist from Stockton, Ill.; and hair and makeup artist Mallory Kilburg, of Preston, Iowa, for a styled shoot at Horseshoe Bluff.

“With a styled shoot, you get more creative range,” Roling said. “Not a lot of brides are down to hike three miles and get that kind of photo.” (full article)
