Biz Buzz: Bellevue eatery earns national recognition

A Bellevue, Iowa, restaurant is the coziest in the state, according to a national publication.
Flatted Fifth Blues & BBQ was named the “coziest restaurant in Iowa” by Food & Wine, an Alabama-based magazine and website. Food & Wine last week released its choices for the coziest eateries in all 50 states.
Mark Herman, who co-owns Flatted Fifth with his wife, Rachel, said the couple was honored by the recognition. He expects the designation will draw more customers to the business.
“When you are located in a town of just 2,000 people, you need to draw customers from a long ways away,” Mark Herman said. “That type of recognition always helps.” (full article)
