Bellevue music business offers free lessons

BELLEVUE, Iowa -- A new business in Bellevue has launched a free program allowing local students to try their hand at the guitar.
Lock 12 Music, 134 S. Riverview Drive, introduced the Groundwork for Instruction in Guitar program -- frequently referred to as GIG -- last month after receiving a grant from a local benefactor, whom owners Greg and Karen Langseth said wishes to remain anonymous.
The grant allowed Lock 12 Music to create what equates to a library of guitars. Thirty bass, electric and acoustic guitars can be checked out by residents free of charge...(full article)
